On Tuesday, 3 November, the U19 Girls Volleyball A Team capped off a tremendous season with a gold medal win against GESS. In what proved to be our toughest battle of the season, the varsity girls fought tooth and nail to win 3 straight sets: 27-25, 25-21, 25-23. In a division of 11 teams, we had our highs and lows, and really began to mesh as a team during the 2nd Annual Husky Growl Invitational.
After the tournament, our team went undefeated, winning each of our last four games 3 sets to 0. Winning the gold medal was really just icing on the cake to a terrific season, and much deserved for a group of young ladies who showed tremendous heart, commitment, and skill all year. Congratulations U19 Husky Girls!
